Marc Emmenegger studied life sciences in Zurich and Lausanne before joining the lab of Adriano Aguzzi, where he has been setting up an antibody phenotyping platform. His main focus is the understanding of the immune system in its many facets, its protective role against pathogenic invaders, its detrimental effects in the realm of autoimmunity, and its reactivation in the context of cancer immunotherapy.
