Johannes Loffing is full professor at the Institute of Anatomy of the University of Zurich and director of the National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) Kidney.CH. The general goal of his research is to understand how the kidneys maintain ion balance and how deranged underlying mechanism lead to human diseases including arterial hypertension.
